What is gynecological rehabilitation like?
Of course, physiotherapy in the gynecological field varies according to the period you are currently in and according to the difficulties that are bothering you. However, below we list the most common areas and methods of care that we deal with in gynecological physiotherapy.

Treatment of muscles in the area of the pelvis, hips and abdomen
Practicing the correct breathing pattern
Education for working with a scar or perineal injury
Posture correction in different positions
Mobilisation of spine and ribs blockages
A sample of suitable exercises for the given period
Release of pelvic floor muscle tension
Work with the mobility of the hips and lumbar spine
Recommendations for other professionals if necessary
Physiotherapy in pregnancy
The body of the pregnant woman undergoes big changes. These changes can bring sometimes all kinds of painful conditions, which can be positively influenced with the help of physiotherapy treatment, posture correction or proper exercise.
Check out which changes are the most significant below.

01
Hormonal changes
There is a loosening of ligaments, especially in the pelvic area, in preparation for childbirth. This brings more flexibility to the body, but also instability.
02
Change of posture
With a growing belly, the center of gravity shifts forward and the body posture changes significantly. This can lead to overloading due to inappropriate compensation.
03
Weight change as the baby grows
Even the increase in weight itself increases the load on the joints and demands on individual muscle groups.
04
Little movement or incorrect load
Whether due to general fatigue, pain or nausea, natural movement can decrease during pregnancy. It is therefore advisable to include at least compensatory exercise.
